Placeswithed is very excited as we’ve been invited along to Bluestone next week to review its Christmasland, Kingdom of the Elves!
The holiday resort in West Wales, transforms into a magical wonderland at Christmas, with exciting activities happening throughout the season. We’re looking forward to meeting some elves and Father Christmas himself in his workshop as he gets ready to deliver his presents.
We’re going to be rolling up our sleeves in a Christmas Kitchen and going on a magical, glittering adventure through Elftopia in the Kingdom of the Elves. Christmasland starts today (Monday 5th November) and ends on Sunday 6th January.
If you visit Bluestone, you’ll experience loads of exciting extras as part of Christmasland. There is a Christmas Panto where you will be heading into the forest to meet Snow White. They are promising to transport us away to the fairyland world where not is all it seems!
There is also a Ceremony of Lights where all guests are welcome to a Christmas light switch-on every evening in the village. You can enjoy carols around the Christmas tree and a spectacular show as the village is brought to life with a magical Christmas glow. You can also join the cast of Snow White and a troupe of mischievous Elves in a parade and festival.
We can’t wait to sip mulled wine and hot chocolate and take part in holiday-themed games alongside some friendly, sometimes naughty, elves. With live music, including all the festive favourites, including mince pies – it’s promising to be an enchanting evening the whole family can enjoy.
All breaks booked during the Christmasland period include tickets to Kingdom of The Elves for your whole party. You can stay at Bluestone throughout the whole Christmas period.
We visited Bluestone a few summers ago so we’re really looking forward to seeing the Christmasland changes. We are going next Monday 12th Nov and will update/review while there.
Along with all the Christmas activites, Bluestone has a fantastic ‘Blue Lagoon’ water park and adventure activities for all ages. It has a number of themed restaurants (our favourite was ‘Camp Smokey so we’re looking forward to seeing that.) It also has a Well Spa which I’m hoping to escape to for a massage!
