The Snowman is being brought to life in a special screening at Gloucester Cathedral tomorrow and you can get 20% off the afternoon ticket prices!
The Snowman Tour is coming to the city on Friday 14 December for the first time and the film will be accompanied by a live orchestra. The event, run by Carrot Productions, will include a screening of the famous 1982 animation and each performance features a young soloist from the local area singing ‘Walking in the Air.’
There will also be a screening of the 2017 adaptation of David Litchfield’s award-winning children’s book The Bear and the Piano. The Snowman himself will even visit the Cathedral to make the experience all the more magical.
The concert will open with a toe-tapping Christmas Medley followed by a fun introduction to the orchestra. All the instruments are presented in a fun and approachable way, offering the young audience members the valuable experience of seeing – and hearing – the instruments individually.
The 7pm performance is sold out at Gloucester but there are still tickets left for the 1pm and 3pm performances.
Tickets cost between £9 and £21.60 but you can get 20% off by using SNOWMAN20 in the PROMOTION CODE box on the ‘Best Available’ page here, you can then click on Select Your Own Seats to choose where you would like to sit.
